Local Farms

  • A work in progress. Please share your story and give us further insights into the lives of the people, places and a way of life pre-New Town.

  • Photos Above
The old A73 showing Glenview (left), Cortachy and Norwood (right) with Carbrain Farm on the hill. Now roughly the Junction of Kilbowie Road and Greenrigg Road. I'm fairly sure the Chestnut tree behind the bus stop remains to this day. Do get in touch if you’d like a copy of the photo. The small photo is the Southern District Primary.
